(Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery will try its hand with a Belgian Golden Ale when it releases Flying Dog Belgian Devil Ale next month as part of the Brewhouse Rarities series. More info below…
—
An homage to the devilish Belgian Golden Ales that continue to inspire our brewers, this Belgian Devil has aromas of peach, pear, and apple along with slight hints of banana and spice from the Belgian yeast strain. Those aromas carry through in flavor, with pear, apple, and yeast phenols dominating. It has a light, subtly sweet malt backbone and subtle bitterness for balance.
8.5% ABV
