
Missouri governor signs bill allowing homebrews at events
Last spring, the city’s liquor enforcement agency decided a few days before the 2012 festival downtown that home brewers would be violating the law if they took part. State lawmakers, on the final day of their 2013 session May 17, passed legislation allowing beer brewed for personal or family use to be removed from their premises for pouring at home brewer contests, tastings, exhibitions and competitions.
