
More commentary on Pennsylvania liquor law reform
Sen. Charles McIlhinney, the Bucks County Republican who chairs the Senate Law and Justice Committee, is scheduled to unveil a bill designed to take the existing system beyond its long-standing state store straitjacket. It us not clear at week’s end just what that will mean: closure of the state stores; more Sunday hours in state stores; beer and wine in supermarkets; the ability to buy less than a case of beer at a time from distributors?
