Santa Fe Brewing releasing three new beers in 2013 as it aims to double to production

Santa Fe Kriek Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour Ale(Santa Fe, NM) – The Santa Fe Brewing Co. is set to nearly double production this year, according to Shanken News Daily.

The publication reports that production has increased to “25,000 barrels per year and added four new states to its distribution footprint. The brewer’s lineup is available in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kansas and Missouri, as well as Nevada beginning on June 17.”

That is up from just over 13,500 barrels in 2012, per The Brewers Association.

Santa Fe Single Barrel Bourbon Barrel Aged Sour AleSanta Fe is also preparing to release some new beers in 2013, starting with the Los Innovadores Series next week. Santa Fe Kriek, a sour ale fermented with cherries and aged in bourbon barrels, will be the first release in 750ml bottles. Single Barrel Sour Ale will follow it this fall.

Also coming this month is Santa Fe’s 25th anniversary ale, Saison 88, in cans. The beer will be released on Saturday, June 29th.
