(Denver, CO) – The Colorado Craft Beer Show noted on Saturday that both Strange Brewing and Strange Homebrew Shop have taken down their Facebook pages as they have ongoing lawsuits filed against each other. Like in the case of Magic Hat v. West Sixth (which still isn’t closed as of Wednesday), social media played a large role in crafting public perception of the original lawsuit filed by Strange Homebrew Shop. Strange Homebrew is challenging Strange Brewing on trademark infringement.

Strange Homebrew filed a countersuit in April.
The Colorado Craft Beer Show said the pages should be back soon implying that the two sides may not be far from a resolution.
I’m not familiar with all the facts – but I will note that the note brewing company is using a “dancing bear” which is associated with the Grateful Dead and is certainly in now way an original idea or concept.
