Titletown Brewing Co.’s expansion could eventually take it to 40,000+ annual barrels

titletown brewing logo(Green Bay, WI) – Titletown Brewing Co. mentioned the expansion reported this week in its most recent newsletter. Noteworthy…Titletown says it will eventually have the capacity to produce 25x what it currently does. According to the Brewers Association, Titletown produced just over 1,600 barrels last year so, doing the math, 25x that is over 40,000 barrels. More below from the newsletter…

We’re well into our busy Summer season, and once again you’ve set a record for beer consumption, drinking about 9000 pints of our beer per week! Congratulations are in order, of course, but the downside is that 9000 pints per week is pushing the limits of what our little brewery can produce! Bear with us as we experience the occasional beer outage during the next 1-2 months.

We’ve even had to eliminate all lagers from our Summer lineup, since they take more time to make, so Dark Helmet has been replaced by Pullman Porter for the rest of the Summer – we hope you find it a good substitute.

Long-term, we need to be able to make more beer, which is why we’re planning a major brewery expansion. While we still need final approval from the city, and there are few other details to work out, we’re likely going to purchase the old Larson cannery just to our West, renovate the buildings, and add a brewery, tasting room, and many other things in a mixed-use space. This will triple our brewing capacity and we’ll have room to expand to about 25X our current output as demand for our beer rises.
