
City Brewing settles civil suit filed after teen drank two Four Loko cans and died
The parents of Virginia teenager who was killed in a 2010 traffic accident after drinking a now-banned energy-alcohol drink made by City Brewing Co. have settled with the La Crosse firm. John and Karla Rupp, of Centreville, Va., sued City Brewing in federal court after their son John D. “Bo” Rupp II, then 15, consumed two 23.5-ounce cans of “Four Loko” and “literally lost his mind,” according to the parents’ attorney.
So the contract brewer was the one that was sued?
