Mikkeller’s first solo can labels approved

Mikkeller Better Half American IPA

(Pottstown, PA) – A Mikkeller rep told the Shelton Brothers podcast in June that the company would be interested in canning in the U.S.. Less than three months later, it looks like that is becoming a reality.

Three label approvals for Mikkeller beers came in this week: Better Half American IPA, Keeper American Pilsner and Wit Fit Imperial American Wit Beer. All three cans are in the 12 oz. size.

The company first shared the news on Facebook at the end of August saying that these would hopefully be ready for the U.S. market by the end of August and potentially other markets.

Sly Fox Brewing will be handling canning duties.

Mikkeller and Half Acre Beer Co. released Guest Lager, brewed at Half Acre, in cans earlier this summer.
