Once the nation’s tenth-largest beer brand, Drewrys set to return
Called “an American Lager with a German accent,” Drewrys hit its peak in the 1960s and was at one time the 10th-largest beer brand in the nation. The massive brewery consolidation in the 1970s, where only a few major brands came to dominate the market, marked the end of the beer in 1972.
