
Three Barrel Grammy Phil uses new Colorado yeast from Wyeast
[…] we’ve released a very exclusive collaboration beer we call a Local Belgian Golden Ale. We worked with Jason Cody from Colorado Malting Company using all CMC malts and a new yeast (Colorado Spontane at Wyeast) that was cultured from the Cody Farm in Alamosa, CO. We call this little number Grammy Phil in respect to the Cody Family grandmother. There will be a very limited release of this ale in 22oz bottles in the next few weeks and it won’t make a return until next year when we team up again.
