(Bloomington, IN) – The latest from Upland Brewing Co., courtesy of Wednesday’s email newsletter…

We’ve been brewing like crazy since fresh Citra hops arrived at the brewery a few weeks ago. From the Pacific Northwest harvest, through urgent shipping, to making it into our only batch of Upland Harvest Ale for the year, these hops have about a 24 hour window of usability. Thankfully, they made it in time again this year, and our fresh-hopped pale ale is being packaged this week! Since freshness is the sought-after quality, it’s always best right away, so we’re inviting you to the tapping of this year’s first Harvest Ale keg on Friday September 27th at our Production Brewery, 4060 Profile Pkwy in Bloomington. The keg will be tapped at 3, and a tamale cart will arrive at 4.
