Dogfish Head update: American Beauty, Kvasir, Olde School, Hellhound On My Ale

Dogfish Head American Beauty Grateful Dead label(Milton, DE) – The latest from Dogfish Head’s email newsletter…

It’s been a long, strange trip, but it’s finally here! American Beauty, our collaboration with the Grateful Dead, is now hitting taps and shelves.

The band took the lead on deciding the style of beer, and they opted for a bold pale ale made with 100 percent U.S.-grown ingredients. The brewery and the band, who both built followings by connecting directly with their fans, asked their supporters to help decide on one righteous, off-centered ingredient to add to the recipe that would complement the pale ale base.

We currently send American Beauty to our wholesale partners in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, KY, ME, MA, MD, MI, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, VT, VA, WA and DC. It is still pending in CT, NH, TX.
