Mother’s latest beer is a big, beautiful chocolate pumpkin porter that’s brimming with locally harvested goodies. We start with chopped, fresh butternut squash and pumpkins, slow roasted with a fat dose of pie spices. Then this nice, rich porter gets a heaping helping of cocoa nibs and even more pie spices before it’s aged in rum barrels to slowly take on all those delicious flavors.
SQUASHED is finally ready for impact, and you’ll find it in local stores by early October.
It’s creeping our way. Winter—and everything that comes with it: The colder-than-cold mornings. Scraping the windshield just to head to work. Heavy coats. Leafless trees. Snow shovels. The daily grind. Hey, wait a minute… Know what else winter brings? Warming up by the firelight with good friends or, if you’re lucky, great lovers and a pack of Winter Grind and all its delicious roasted espresso bean goodness.
