Stone co-founder/CEO Greg Koch, to go on six-month leave, plans for company’s long-term future
Before he leaves on a six-month, off-the-grid trip in February, Koch says he’s taking steps to ensure Stone’s fate is set for years to come. He’s long damned the conglomerates that snap up or try to imitate fast-growing companies like his. He’s currently going through legal machinations to lock that ethos into the company’s bylaws. Industrial companies won’t be allowed to buy it as a result, he says.
Stone declined to elaborate on Koch’s trip.

“6 Month off the grid” trip aka he’s filming a TV show.
Most television actors I know of do not go “off the grid.” Unless of course, you are on Survivor or something but most, if not all, reality shows would run far less than six months. So much for that theory.
Is Greg not the majority owner of Stone? If he is, why the concern over a buy out?
Because we have not cured mortality.
