Walmart already #1 U.S. beer retailer per Ad Age, won’t go ‘private label’ route

He reiterated the company’s goal of doubling beer sales in the next three years. "I see it as a layup. My team sees it as a big half-court shot. But I’m telling you, it’s there," he said during his talk

Notably, the recent Bloomberg piece didn’t go so far as to proclaim Walmart (already) as the nation’s largest beer retailer but AdAge did in this one which isn’t surprising.
