(Chicago, IL) – Off Color Brewing has just released a beer called “Screw You Jeremy Danner.”
The beer is currently on draft was on draft as of Friday at The Northdown in Chicago along with a number of other barrel-aged beers in recognition of this weekend’s Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer.
The official description for the beer reads, “Gin barrel aged Lemon Radler. Jeremy Danner hates goats and radlers and kittens and dinosaur socks so we hate Jeremy Danner. I mean, really. Screw him. Tell him so @jeremy_danner. 4.8% ABV.”
Says Off Color co-founder, John Laffer, of the project, “I just got to write the best menu copy Ive ever written.”
The beer name is an inside joke, however, as Laffler and the guileful Boulevard brewer, Danner, share a kinship that is exemplary of the sort of camaraderie seen in craft beer today.
Laffler has not yet shared plans to extend the Screw You Jeremy Danner brand.
Be on the lookout for a list of FoBAB winners soon.
