(Marietta, GA) – Sticky Stout (Oatmeal Stout) is the next beer in Red Hare Brewing Company’s seasonal line, released just in time to help the masses cope with the Georgia “winter”. Sticky Stout is brewed with dark roasted malts and loads of oats that give it a rich dark brown color and smooth body. The balance of oats and malt makes it light and sweet with aromatic hints of chocolate and roasted coffee coming through on the nose and initial taste, followed by a sticky mouth feel on the back end. This brew is lightly hopped with Saaz and Willamette hops to help balance, but not distract from the roasted malt character. At 6.5% ABV Sticky Stout is not too heavy, not too light, but just right. Like most Oatmeal Stouts, Sticky Stout’s bold flavors stand up to grilled meats and hearty strews, whiles its sweetness complements chocolate, caramel, and berries.
Sticky Stout will only be available on draught and will be released to the public Saturday November 16th at the brewery during our tasting from 2-4pm. We will have a local food vendor, and live music from Faithless Town at the brewery for the festivities. Sticky Stout will be available in restaurants, bars, and package/growler shops as of November 18th.
