(Tempe, AZ) – Four Peaks Brewing announced the release of 8th Street Pale Ale in cans this week. More below…

Beginning early next week Four Peaks 8th Street Pale Ale in cans will begin appearing in stores around the state (available at all Four Peaks locations right NOW), The Four Peaks Grill & Tap will be celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary on Tuesday which will be chock full of music, great food specials, limited edition beers, prizes and more (details below) also, with highs hovering around 70, we’re enjoying some of the best weather in the country.

What more could you ask for in an opening week? Apart from another Steve Lynch guest spot on Bar Rescue that is.

In the Seasonal and Specialty Beer category we still have plenty of our ¡Odelay!, Mexican Chocolate Ale, an 8.1% ABV chocolaty, spicy – but not hot – beer that’s been getting raves!

In case you’re unfamiliar, our Brewers describe it as such:

Since it’s getting colder, we thought of trying to make a beer that tasted like a champurrado – or Mexican hot chocolate – minus the hot part. Champurrado is more than just hot chocolate. It is often accompanied by canelo (cinnamon), allspice, cayenne, and even masa harina. We decided to break it down into its separate ingredients and came up with a mix of organic cacao powder, canelo, allspice, and for a twist, we’re adding a few pounds of dried pasilla chilies (we’re freaks about a good molé) and barley as a substitute for the masa.
