Tröegs Cultivator Helles Bock the first of three new seasonals coming to brewery’s lineup

Tröegs Cultivator Helles Bock(Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Brewing announced some changes to its seasonal lineup for 2014. More below via email newsletter…

With the change in the calendar year come some pretty substantial alterations to our seasonal beer lineup, and we’re excited to give you a sneak peek of what’s ahead for 2014!

Inspired by the cyclical nature of the four seasons, our “Hop Cycle” series celebrates the annual hop harvest. Emerging from springtime’s fertile ground, Cultivator (spring), celebrates the start of hop growing season. This spring bock delivers hints of toasted grains, fresh baked bread and delicate floral hops. Hop fans can rejoice knowing sunlight sustains the soil, allowing precious hop cones to grow and flourish.

Sunshine Pils (summer) combines the snap of a Euro-style Pilsner with an assertive hop character to create a balanced, refreshing summer seasonal.

With Hop Knife (fall), we recognize the meticulous, time-honored tradition of hand-harvesting hops at the peak of maturity. This harvest ale utilizes our hopback vessel and dry-hopping to release a bounty of intense hop flavor across the palate.

As winter slowly creeps in, Blizzard of Hops (winter) confirms a successful harvest and the end of the hop cycle. Enjoy the fruits of our labor with this revitalizing Winter White IPA.

With this change, we will also give our Anthology variety packaging an overhaul. Each Anthology package will coincide with our seasonal releases and include a sublime collection of your favorite Tröegs year-round brews.
