Press Release:

(Kalamazoo, MI) – The next mini-keg to be released by Bell’s Brewery, Inc. will feature Midwestern Pale Ale.

The limited 5 liter MWPA mini-kegs have started shipping. They will also be available at the Bell’s General Store in downtown Kalamazoo beginning Feb. 7.

Brewed with a combination of 2-Row malt and barley grown on the Bell’s Farm in Shepherd, Michigan, Midwestern Pale Ale is offered year round in bottles and on draft. This is the first time MWPA will be available in this additional packaging option.

The artwork is an artistic representation of the Bell’s Farm by Kalamazoo-based artist Conrad Kaufman. The can features the same painting as the label but will be shown in its entirety on the mini-keg.

“This is a perfect way to share Midwestern Pale Ale,” said Laura Bell, Bell’s Vice President.

“We are proud that this beer is made with an ingredient grown on our farm right here in Michigan and that will be front and center to everyone when these arrive in stores,” she said.

The Bell’s Farm is certified by the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) and all crops are 100-percent non-GMO.

The next beer to be released in this format will be Oberon Ale in May.
