Home brewers in Kansas would be allowed to share their beer, wine and cider with friends and have the beverages judged in competitions under a bill approved by the state House.

It’s 2014, dammit… there’s no excuse to still have these prohibition-era alcohol laws on the books. Alcohol is one of the most over-regulated industries in the country, much to the detriment of both consumers and business owners alike. It’s time to get rid of them all and install some simple, common-sense laws.
