More on Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 6 Imperial Pumpkin Stout aged in Rum Barrels

Saint Arnold Bishop's Barrel 6 Imperial Pumpkin Stout(Houston, TX) – BeerPulse recently posted about the upcoming Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel 6. The company released more information this week on locations and the beer itself. More below via Saint Arnold Brewing’s email newsletter…

Bishop’s Barrel No. 6 is Pumpkinator aged in Appleton Estate 21-30 Year Rum Barrels. It smells like a pumpkin pie that somebody snuck some rum into. The taste begins with sweet malt, chocolate and spices followed by a warming rum finish. The pumpkin creates a pleasant body which holds up to the onslaught of flavors. It is oddly balanced with the hops creating a crisp finish – leaving the mouth wanting more. As it warms, all of the wonderful flavors become rounder and fuller.
