Experiencing explosive growth in annual sales volume, Wormtown recently announced the construction of a new brewery located in the old Edward Buick facility on 72 Shrewsbury St in Worcester.
According to Ben Roesch, the new facility will open with a 6,000 barrel brewing capacity that is easily expandable up to 15,000 barrels. In addition the new brewery will incorporate a modern packaging line which will allow Wormtown to expand their distribution to include package stores. Currently Wormtown hand bottles a limited amount of 22oz bottles and sells some take home growlers in limited quantities.
“I am really excited about this new facility. First, we will be able to alleviate some of the demand pressure we currently experience given our capacity constraints. Second I am looking forward to seeing our beer on the shelves of local package stores.”
