Richardson grants Four Bullets Brewery a Special Permit to Allow Brewery
Richardson Texas has approved the first brewery in its history and Four Bullets Brewery will be the happy recipients. The brewery will be located off Arapaho Road and Hwy 75N at 640 N. Interurban Street, easily accessible to the Arapaho Dart light rail/bus station. The final application is with the TABC and once approved, Four Bullets Brewery will be ready to show-case their hand-crafted ales.
The new brewery is the result of co-owner and Head Brewer Andrew Smeeton’s long held ambition to own a brewery. Growing up in England and making homebrewed English ales for over 25 years with rave reviews, his dream has come true in Richardson, TX. “I am thrilled to be bringing a host of ales to my hometown of Richardson and the surrounding areas”, Andrew said. “Since the revised state laws of Texas, we have seen an impressive craft beer scene emerge that we are excited to soon be part of.”
Andrew’s partner in the brewery is Jeff Douglas who is taking on the roll of Sales Manager and Assistant Brewer. He will be bringing these fine hand crafted ales to the local restaurants and bars. “We’ve been making great homebrewed beer together for several years and I think it’s time that we present it to everyone for their enjoyment.” Jeff said. “We are very excited about this opportunity. Andrew and I are both ready to share our labor of love with the public.”
Four Bullets Brewery is expected to open towards the end of 2014 with tours and tastings.
Can’t wait!!!!
