Port Anniversary Ale is back, The Lost Abbey Framboise de Amorosa returns soon

The Lost Abbey Framboise de Amorosa sour ale() – The latest from Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey’s email newsletter…

In beer news, we recently released our newest creation Agave Maria, an Agave-based Strong Ale barrel-aged in both Anejo and Reposado tequila barrels for over 12 months, so you should be seeing this hit distribution very soon. With hints of black pepper, sweet sugar, oatmeal, and oak with an earthy, bitter smoked chocolate on the finish, Agave Maria is a beer we’re very proud of. This year’s Framboise de Amorosa is also on deck as well as Port Brewing’s Anniversary Ale, look for both to be released Early May.

In addition, more exciting news, especially for those folks who live on the coast… We’re a few steps closer to being able to open our first satellite tasting room in Cardiff by the Sea! We have a few more meetings and some construction to do, but we’re aiming to be opening this summer!

Framboise de Amorosa
Barrel-Aged Raspberry Sour, 7%

Framboise de Amorosa is our first foray into the world of raspberry beers. It begins as Lost and Found ale and is sent into freshly emptied red wine barrels. The beer spends over a year in the wood during which time it is spiked with three additions of raspberries.

Anniversary Ale
Imperial IPA, 10%
Our massively hopped strong IPA brewed
in celebration of our anniversary each year.
Using Columbus, Amarillo, and Citra hops, Anniversary has an intensely hoppy body with fresh tones of pine and citrus.

The Lost Abbey Agave Maria is still available depending on where you shop. Port Anniversary Ale just dropped. The Lost Abbey Framboise de Amorosa is not yet available but soon.
