(Ipswich, MA) – Clown Shoes Beer announced a couple future new beers on its Facebook page recently. More below…

First up, Clown Shoes plans to brew a Massachusetts-only IPA in July or August. This may be the one planned for cans if we recall correctly.
Among the brand ideas tossed around but not finalized … Tribe of Shoe IPA, God Help Me IPA, Eeephus Pitch and Lay My Burden Down.
Next up … “This year we will bourbon barrel age one third of our Pecan Porter and rename it Clown Shoes Bourbon Pecan Pie Porter.” Coming in Late September. The beer will hit wide distribution.
Clown Shoes Extremely Angry Beast Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is a 12% ABV beer coming in November.
“Mix one part part Bourbon Barrel Aged Blaecorn Unidragon, one part Bourbon Barrel Aged Undead Party Crasher, one part Rum Barrel Aged Hammer of the Holy, then add a healthy dose of incendiary rage.”
This one has not yet made its way through the TTB and we are not sure the agency will approve that last line because of what they may perceive are medical implications. Such implications are against TTB policy. Remember when The Brooklyn Brewery had to rename “The Tonic” to “The Concoction?”
