(Milwaukee, WI) – MKE Brewing Co. is undergoing yet another addition of fermentation space in 2014. As of Friday, May 9th, two 80 barrel secondary fermentation tanks were delivered from Quality Tank Solutions of Oconomowoc, WI. The addition of these two tanks will be complimented by two more 80 barrel primary fermentation vessels that will arrive in early June from W.M. Sprinkman of Franksville, WI.

The increase in capacity is the third of its’ kind in as many years for the young microbrewery. In 2012, MKE Brewing increased capacity by 125%, allowing the brewery capability of 12,000 barrels annually. When current addition is completed capacity will be approximately 15,000 barrels annually. “It’s all about maintaining the excitement around our brands that we currently have and providing new and interesting styles for our customers”, said Jim McCabe, Founder and CEO. “We are introducing a monumental amount of new varieties this year for our company, 12 in all” added McCabe, “add to that the successful growth in our home state of Wisconsin and our recent expansion to Minnesota and you have a recipe for a potentially great year. We are making strides to keep this momentum going and continue to make quality, hand crafted beers for the Midwest for years to come.”

2014 is shaping up nicely for MKE Brewing Co. After surprisingly successful first quarter, sales are up 60% over 2013 with the prime selling season still ahead.
