One local distributor reported knocking 22 Yuengling taps out of local bars last week alone, while one salesmen hangs the Yuengling taps pubs have dumped in favor of his brands on the wall of his office like trophies.

With any product (not just beer) there is an initial boom and then sales/interest fall off. That is when you really need to have a good plan in order to stay relevant. Boston is a HUGE market but with Harpoon and Sam Adams, not to mention the other local brews, there is a lot of loyalty by beer drinkers.
