This April, the Beer T-shirt of the Month Club is featuring a design from the Kansas City Bier Company. KCBC only brews German-style beer. The beauty of their brews is in the simplicity of their final product. They make sure they start with fresh ingredients, like imported European hops, malts, and yeast, to guarantee that authentic German flavor. And they don’t filter their bier, but instead use a natural clarifying process. KCBC doesn’t give their bier clever names, either. They don’t need the extra frills or fanfare; each bier speaks for itself. Year-round, KCBC brews their Helles, Dunkel, Hefeweizen, and Pils. They run some seasonals as well, including three types of bock, a Festbier, and a Doppel Alt. KCBC brew are the perfect beverages for sipping while lounging in a lovely biergarten, and luckily Kansas City Bier Company has a great one. They also serve traditional snacks, like soft pretzels with mustard and various sausages. And their menu includes a pairing guide, so you can’t go wrong.
