Beer T-Shirt Club’s brewery partner for June is celebrating their 30th anniversary! Capital Brewery, located in Middleton, WI, was founded in 1986 intending to brew German style lagers. Their tastes have grown in 30 years though and they have been brewing much more than lagers. Just a few of their standards are the Wisconsin Amber, Capital Pilsner, Island Wheat, plus four different IPA’s. Capital Brewery offers limited releases and seasonals exclusively during certain months of the year, with the limited releases sold in 4-packs. All their current beers can be found listed on their website. Be sure to check out their Beer Finder, where you can find your favorite Capital Brewery beer throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. And if you are ever going through Wisconsin between the months of April and October, grab a beer in their enormous Bier Garten and enjoy some live music.
They say at Capital Brewery, “We know that no matter how good our product is, we can always make it better.” Capital Brewery’s efforts to constantly increase their commitment to sustainability makes them a forerunner in green efforts in the state of Wisconsin. They are the third brewery in the state to have had the honor to be accepted into the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Green Tier Program. This gives them the opportunity to partner with people that can help improve their already amazing work.
