Blackstone Turns to the Dark Side with Dark Matter Black IPA
Dark Matter available in bars, stores and the Blackstone TapHouse
(Nashville, TN) – This might be the IPA you’re looking for. Blackstone Brewing Company’s Dark Matter Black IPA has returned from a galaxy far, far away for a limited winter release to bars and stores across Tennessee and at the Blackstone TapHouse, located at 2312 Clifton Avenue in Nashville.
This brew is full of hop flavor, with pine and floral undertones, accompanied by a hint of roasted malt. There were no disturbances in the Force with the making of this beer: just the right balance between hops and malt is achieved. All who behold Dark Matter experience the dark side of brewing due to the deep rich color. Sensor readings of 6.2% ABV and 55 IBUs make each sip an out of this world experience!
“The hop level in the brew is present but not overpowering which allows for hops and malt to coexist. The roasted malt bill is slightly higher than found in typical IPAs but still kept in check,” said Kent Taylor, founder of Blackstone Brewing Company. “Dark Matter features Simcoe and Amarillo hops which add a pleasant aroma and interest to the beer.”
Additional seasonal releases from Blackstone include Barista Brew Coffee Stout, a collaboration with Frothy Monkey Coffeehouse, and Black Belle Imperial Stout, a collaboration with Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery. Both beers are available for a limited time.
