(Marietta, GA) – Red Hare Brewing Company of Marietta, Georgia has announced the release of the Tangerine SPF 50/50, the line extension to its wildly popular original SPF 50/50. This India Pale Radler (IPR) follows the same brewing method as the original SPF 50/50, which is a blend of the Gangway India Pale Ale (IPA) and a house-crafted soda.
After Red Hare announced that SPF 50/50 would remain as a year-round beer in 2017, Head Brewer Bobby Thomas started playing with the idea of introducing another flavor to the unique beer brand. After some trial and error, the Tangerine was selected as the next flavor for its soft sweetness and supreme juiciness. Along with 2-Row Barley and Specialty Malts, the beer uses Willamette, Cascade, Chinook, and Falconer’s Flight hops, finishing with an additional dryhopping with Falconer’s Flight. The Tangerine SPF 50/50 has 26 IBUs and is 4.2% ABV, making it the perfect beer for shooting the Hooch, barbequing on the porch, or flying on a magic carpet.
To celebrate the succulent Tangerine SPF 50/50, Red Hare will be hosting a huge Moroccanthemed bazaar, complete with belly dancing, Henna artist, a petting zoo, and other local vendors. The party is to be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 2:00 – 9:00 pm at Red Hare Brewery (1998 Delk Industrial Blvd. Marietta, GA 30067). Tickets for the events can be purchased at www.freshtix.com/events/tangerinespf5050.
