Denver, CO – Call to Arms Brewing Company will release another collaboration with Novel Strand Brewing Company on Saturday, April 21st at noon at Call to Arms, 4526 Tennyson St, Denver, CO 80212 . Two years ago, Call to Arms debuted their first collaboration with Novel Strand, notoriously known as The Notorious G.L.E.E.K. The breweries knew they had to bring this beer back one way or another. Vol. II: Still Gleekin’ is a sour ale, uniquely soured without hops, then dry hopped with Mosaic hops in a cabernet sauvignon barrel after fermentation.

“Following last month’s Galactic Funk Punch can release, we wanted to continue to play with Brettanomyces and dry hopping,” said Call to Arms owner and co-founder Chris Bell. “The result is an incredibly crisp, refreshing and pleasantly tart beer that is perfect for the beginning of spring.”

Still Gleekin’ is reminiscent of a pineapple wine with notes of fresh peach, pear, pineapple and white grape. The 6.3 percent AVB sour is 100 percent fermented in oak and includes Lactobacillus delbrueckii, Brettanomyces Bruxellensis II, and Mosaic hops.

The limited edition beer will be available in 375 mL bottles for $10 each at the Call to Arms taproom. Only 200 bottles will be released at the Berkeley neighborhood brewery.
