The most recent edition of The Brewing Network’s Sunday Session features a lengthy interview with Cranker’s Brewery brewmaster, Adam Mills, and a short interview with FiftyFifty Brewing brewmaster, Todd Ashman.
Ashman talks about the recently-released Eclipse barrel-aged beer series. FiftyFifty nearly doubled Eclipse production in 2012, according to Ashman, who says the brewery produced 40 batches of the base beer. The brewery, which makes a variety of other lesser-known beers, will pass the 1,000 barrel mark this year for the first time, up from 600 barrels in 2011.
Cranker’s is a brand-new brewery out of Michigan. “The crew covers all facets of Mills’ homebrewer-to-pro transition, including his recipe development and his extensive use of whirlpool hopping.”
