Popular mens lifestyle website, The Chive, announced on Tuesday a few details around it upcoming beer label, “Resignation Brewery.”
The Chive is working with Redhook Brewery to produce the beer, KCCO Black Lager. It will launch in some major metros around the country before rolling out “nationally.”
The photo posted on The Chive indicates the beer is 5.1% ABV and 22 IBUs so nothing too off the walls.
#KCCO is a popular hashtag used in social media for the brand and stands for, “Keep Calm, Chive On.”
The Chive has nearly 500,000 Facebook likes on its profile as of this posting.
For Redhook, it appears to be another hit a string of partnerships earning mainstream attention. Other examples include the official (craft) beer of the Seattle Sounders, the official beer of the Dan Patrick Show, the just-debuted Game Changer Ale with Buffalo Wild Wings and a hemp ale called Joint Effort celebrating marijuana legalization in Washington State.
